BMW Motorrad has launched the G 310 RR Limited Edition in India, priced at INR 299,000, ex-showroom. Limited to 310 units, the Limited Edition commemorates 10,000 unit sales milestone, and will be available in two themes: Cosmic Black and Polar White.
As you can probably tell, the Limited Edition is all about those sporty decals on the body kit and wheel rims. The rest of the features will remain unchanged, including Michelin Pilot Street tyres, gold upside-down fork, a 5-inch TFT display, dual-channel ABS, LED headlights & taillight, pre-load adjustable rear suspension, and four riding modes (Track, Sport, Rain and Urban).
The so-called Champion’s Dome decal looks pretty cool. But anyway, the motorcycle is powered by a 312 cc single-cylinder water-cooled engine that produces up to 25 kW (34 metric hp) at 9,700 rpm and up to 27.3 Nm (20 lb-ft) of torque at 7,700 rpm. In Rain and Urban modes, the output figures are limited to 19 kW (26 metric hp) and 25 Nm (18.4 lb-ft). The official top speed is 160 km/h (99 mph), and of course, it is limited to 125 km/h (78 mph) in Rain and Urban modes. The engine is hooked-up to a 6-speed gearbox with a race-tuned anti-hopping clutch.
