The all wheel drive I-Pace is powered by two electric motors positioned on the front and rear axles, generating 400 hp of power and a massive 700 Nm of torque. The 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack can be fast changed using a public 50kW DC charging network, and takes 2 hours for a full charge. An 80 percent charge can be achieved in 90 minutes. Enough to deliver an estimated 220 miles (322 km) range (measured on the US EPA test cycle). The I-Pace has a drag coefficient of 0.29, and can sprint from 0-60 mph within 4 second. The Concept SUV rides on 23 inch “Nighthawk” wheels.

There’s a main 10 inch TFT infotainment screen, and a secondary 5.5 inch touchscreen paired with two laser etched aluminum rotaries that encase circular HD displays. This secondary screen allows occupants to configure infotainment and climate while keeping full screen information on the 10-inch display above. The I-Pace Concept also features a configurable 12 inch HD virtual instrument cluster and a full-color head-up display.

Ian Callum, Director of Design, said – “The I-PACE Concept represents the next generation of electric vehicle design. It’s a dramatic, future-facing cab-forward design with a beautiful interior – the product of authentic Jaguar DNA, electric technology and contemporary craftsmanship.”
