2015 was an exciting year for Mercedes launching 15 cars as promised which ended with an updated A-Class. In fact it was the most successful year for Mercedes with sales touching 13,502 units. Today Mercedes-Benz India launched the new GLE 450 AMG Coupe at Rs 86.4 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. This is the first one of the 12 new cars that are lined up for India launch this year. The Coupe is based on the updated GLE (previously known as ML Class), which was launched late 2015. The front fascia is very much GLE like and the AMG bumper makes it look more aggressive. The sloping roofline is not only reminiscent of a coupe, but also clearly tells you that it’s targeted at BMW’s X6. The rear end reminds of the stunning S63 AMG Coupe. Adding to all these stunning looks are the 21 inch twin 5-spoke wheels.
