Though the launch date of the all new Innova Crysta is unknown, Toyota Kirloskar Motors ends production of the current generation Innova, bids adieu to the last unit at its plant in Bidadi, KA. Innova has been a huge success to Toyota in India and has been loved both by private as well as commercial owners. It was originally introduced as a successor to the Qualis, which was also a successful MPV. Both Qualis and Innova has helped Toyota establish a strong base in India and despite a tough competition by its competitors, Toyota still holds the crown in the segment.

So Toyota is not gonna be selling the first gen Innova along with the new Innova Crysta as many speculated it to be. The new Innova Crysta, which was unveiled at Auto Expo 2016 is expected to be launched in India by end of May this year.
