German sports car startup Apollo Automobil has revealed their latest creation—the IE or Intensa Emozione which literally means “Intense Emotion”.

The IE’s entire chassis, including the monocoque, front and rear subframes has a total weight of just 105 kg (231 lbs). No matter from which angle you see it, you’ll find carbon, which explains the curb weight of just 1,250 kg (2,756 lbs).

A high-revving naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 motor powers the car, producing 780 bhp (582 kW) at 8,300 rpm and 760 Nm (560 lb-ft) of torque at 6,000 rpm. Gearbox is a 6-speed sequential with paddle shifters. A 0-100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is claimed at 2.7 seconds and top speed is 335 km/h (208 mph). The IE generates 1,350 kg (2,976 lbs) of downforce at 300 km/h (186 mph). The extreme design has resulted in aerodynamic efficiency of around 3.0 Cd.

There are 12 levels of traction control and 10 levels of ABS. There are 3 engine maps available—Wet, Sport and Track. Interiors get a 5-inch roof-mounted display for heating, ventilation, AC, defrost, interior lighting etc, and a 12-inch main display.

Apollo plans to produce only 10 units with each unit priced at €2,300,000.
