Porsche has added the 911 GT3 to its India lineup, priced at Rs 2.31 Crore ex-showroom, Pan India. The 2017 model (991.2) was globally unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.

Powering the 911 GT3 is a 4.0L flat-six (boxer) engine, producing 500 hp at 8,250 rpm and 460 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The buyer gets a choice of a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK, and the power is sent to the rear wheels. With the manual, the car’s acceleration from 0-100 km/h is rated at 3.9 seconds and top speed is 320 km/h. With the PDK, 0-100 km/h happens in 3.4 seconds and maxes out at 318 km/h.

The manual weighs 1,413 kg while the PDK weighs 1,430 kg (unladen).

Features include Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Porsche Track Precision App, Sound Package Plus, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) and many more.

The car comes with rear-wheel steering as standard.

Wheels are 20-inch ones shod with 245/35 tyres at front and 305/30 at rear.
