The Hyundai Kona Iron Man Edition which was showcased as a concept in different parts of the world, including Auto Expo 2018 in India, will be a reality. Production is scheduled to begin in December, with the first units available in the first quarter of 2019.

As you can see in the photos here, the special edition on the exterior gets a dark chrome front grille, custom daytime running lights, Iron Man mask motif on the roof, V-shaped hood garnish, Iron Man Exosuit cues on front and rear bumpers, front-fender Iron Man mask badging, Stark Industries decals on the rear doors, Iron Man engraving on the D-pillars, and custom 18-inch alloy wheels with Iron Man mask center caps.

Apparently, even the headlamp internal surfaces get Iron Man engraving. In case you’re wondering, the exterior finish is an exclusive matte gray with Iron Man red.

The Iron Man theme continues onto the interiors as well. Besides the red accents and red contrast stitching, there’s a special Head-Up Display featuring Iron Man graphics, Iron Man startup animation sequence on the MID, Iron Man shift lever knob, Tony Stark Signature on the dashboard and even the Stark Industries-branded 8-inch touchscreen. The smart key features Iron Man mask as well.

The Kona Iron Man Edition is the latest project to emerge from the ongoing collaboration between Marvel and Hyundai. The new 2019 Veloster Turbo appears in Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp.

The Kona Iron Man Edition will be produced in limited numbers, but Hyundai hasn’t shared the exact numbers just yet. Also checkout the regular Hyundai Kona and Kona EV.
