Hero Motocorp has launched three new 200 cc motorcycles – Xtreme 200S at Rs 98,500, XPulse 200 at Rs 97,000 and XPulse 200T at Rs 94,000. The XPulse 200 also comes in a Fuel Injection (FI) variant, priced at Rs 105,000. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Hero Xtreme 200S

The Xtreme 200S is a fully faired motorcycle that features twin LED headlamp, chiseled styling, LED tail lamp and a sporty exhaust. The bike is available in 3 colors – Sports Red, Panther Black, and Brown.

Hero-XPulse-200

As the styling suggests, the XPulse 200 is an adventure motorcycle with 220mm ground clearance. It also features full-LED headlamp, protective visor/windshield, knuckle guards, luggage plate with bungee hooks, and dual-purpose tyres. The XPulse 200 is available in a choice of 5 colors – Sports Red, Panther Black, White, Matte Green, and Matte Grey.

Hero-XPulse-200T

The third one is XPulse 200T, a retro-themed touring bike which features full-LED headlamp and a USB charger. It is available in a choice of 4 colors – Sports Red, Panther Black, Matte Shield Gold, and Matte Grey.

All 3 bikes feature LCD instrument display with Bluetooth connectivity and Turn-by-Turn GPS navigation. Suspension duties are handled by 37mm telescopic fork at front and a 7-step rider adjustable Monoshock at the rear. The XPulse 200 gets 10-step adjustments for the rear suspension.

As for braking, the bikes get 276mm and 220mm single discs front and rear, while the XPulse 200 gets a Petal disc for the rear. Single Channel ABS is standard for all 3 bikes.

As the name suggests, the bikes are powered by a 199.6 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 13.5 kW (18.3 hp) at 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm, paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Xtreme 200S gets a 12.5 litre fuel tank while the XPulse models can carry 13 litres. The FI variant of the XPulse 200 is the heaviest among the three at 154 kg (kerb weight) and the Xtreme 200S is the lightest at 149 kg (kerb weight).
