The festive season in India has brought big sales to TKM too. The company sold a total of 11,866 units in the domestic market in October 2019 as against 12,606 units in the same period last year, registering a decline of nearly 6 percent (5.87). However, compared to the 17 percent decline in September 2019, last month’s number seems to be a big improvement.

TKM exported 744 units in October 2019, which is a growth of just over 16 percent compared to 639 units in October 2018.

We are delighted that the customer demand witnessed a spike in the festive season especially during Dhanteras and Diwali. The boost in customer sentiments has enabled an upward trend in our sales performance as compared to the last few months of slowdown. It was quite encouraging to see the marked improvement in customer orders on account of the festive season. Higher retail conversions for Innova, Fortuner TRD Celebratory edition & Happenin New Yaris which were introduced to add to the festive fervor. – N. Raja, Deputy Managing Director, TKM
