The 6th generation Ford Bronco will make its global debut online on July 13, 2020. The reservations will also open on that day for a refundable deposit of $100. The big news is that in addition to the 2-door Bronco, there’ll also be a 4-door Bronco for the first time and a smaller Bronco Sport model.

Ford gave the public a glimpse of the new Bronco’s styling last year with a Baja racer. A couple of spy photos that have surfaced online of the road-going model reveal a Wrangler-rivalling boxy styling with circular headlights.

The production model retains the bold BRONCO branding on the front grille, flanked by running lights on either side that run into the headlights.

The new Bronco will be based on Ford’s T6 architecture, which also underpins the Ranger T6 pickup truck. Ford claims that all three variants of the new Bronco will deliver on the brand’s three Built Wild principles: Built Wild Extreme Durability Testing, Built Wild Capability and Built Wild Innovative Design. It’ll feature standard 4×4 and an exclusive terrain management system.

We’ve leveraged extensive off-road experience from vehicles like our F-150 Raptor to ensure that every Bronco delivers the ‘Built Wild’ toughness and durability our customers expect. – Kumar Galhotra, President, Americas & International Markets Group, Ford
