Mercedes-AMG has inaugurated its “first AMG Experience Centre in the world” at the Zhejiang International Circuit in China. According to the company, this is different compared to the existing network of dedicated AMG showrooms and AMG Performance Centres.

The new AMG Experience Centre lies about two hours’ drive from Shanghai, occupying an area of around 1,305 square metres directly adjacent to the Zhejiang International Circuit. There are up to 12 functional areas and 4 display areas spread across two floors, delivering a comprehensive brand experience.

The ground floor houses AMG vehicles, displays to showcase technologies, a refreshment zone called Café63, and of course, some high-quality merchandise. Specially trained AMG experts will also be present on this floor to assist any prospects.

Upstairs is where the visitors and enthusiasts can experience racing simulators and AR applications. A slot car race track — controlled via brainwaves — is yet another technological highlight.

And of course, the enthusiasts can experience the AMG vehicle range on the race track, in association with AMG Driving Academy. The range of vehicles available for test drives include GT3 and GT4 race cars. In addition, the Zhejiang International Circuit offers special monthly track days, in which customers and enthusiasts can take part either with their own AMG vehicles or in vehicles booked from the Centre.
