The facelifted Audi Q5 has now got the Sportback sibling with all the same styling and technology updates. It’ll go on sale in select markets in the first half of 2021.

The front fascia is similar to the regular Q5, however, the example here wears a lot of chrome. It’s the same story on the side and on the rear; the rear bumper design is different compared to the regular Q5. The Sportback too gets the OLED units for the taillights.

The cabin too doesn’t look all that different from the regular Q5; however, notice the headroom curvature at the rear to compensate for the sloping roofline. Features include a 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, a Head-Up Display, and a 10.1-inch MMI Navigation Plus infotainment system. The options list also includes a Bang and Olufsen sound system with 3D sound.

At launch, the new Q5 Sportback will receive a 2.0-litre TFSI engine combined with a 12-volt mild-hybrid system, developing 265 hp (195 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque. The SQ5 Sportback will pack a 3.0 TFSI V6 engine with 354 hp (264 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque.

The SQ5 Sportback gets adaptive dampers as standard while the air suspension will be available in the options list.
