Audi seems to have suddenly remembered the TT, almost as if waking up in the middle of the night and realizing “oh sh!t! I’ve a TT too!” Anyway, the TT is getting the S line competition plus in the German market, priced at €47,316.30 for the Coupé and €49,655.80 for the Roadster.

It is available with the TT 45 TSFI variants. The S line competition plus basically combines the S line exterior package with the black styling package; the latter gets high-gloss finished elements such as the singleframe grille, air inlets, exterior mirrors, sill trim strips, diffuser insert and a fixed rear wing. The Audi rings and the tailpipes also have a black finish.

As standard, the S line competition plus rides on 19-inch wheels in five-arm polygon design finished in gloss black, while 20-inch wheels in a 10-Y spoke design is available in the options list. Also, notice the red-painted calipers adding the necessary contrast. The standard S line sport suspension with dynamic damper tuning lowers the body by 10 mm. LED headlights are also available in the options list. In addition to the Turbo Blue solid paint finish, buyers can choose from the metallic finishes: Tango Red, Glacier White and Chronos Gray.

In the cabin, the sports seats plus are upholstered with leather and Alcantara in black – or entirely in fine Nappa leather as an option. There’s the contrast stitching in Express Red or Ara Blue. Elements such as the rings inside the air vents or the trim on the centre console are available in Tango Red (exclusively for the Coupé), Turbo Blue or Slate Gray. Included as standard is a 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit.

The TT 45 TFSI is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,984 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that develops 245 hp (180 kW) between 5,000-6,700 rpm and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque between 1,600-4,300 rpm. A 7-speed S tronic (DCT) drives the front wheels.

The TT S line competition plus will be available to order from October (in Germany), with deliveries commencing in December. The quattro AWD variants will be available in the first quarter of 2021.
