BMW has revealed the First Edition models of the X5 M and X6 M Competition, limited to 250 units each. The First Edition is all about visual upgrades over the “regular” models.
It begins with an exclusive Frozen Dark Silver paint finish for both the X5 M Competition and X6 M Competition models, while there’s also an option to go for Frozen Marina Bay Blue paint finish. In addition, select exterior elements are made from carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP), including the mirror caps on both models and the rear spoiler in the X6 M Competition. An M Carbon engine compartment cover is likewise part of the First Edition specification.
The cabin features Merino full leather upholstery in Silverstone & Midnight Blue dual-tone combination; Black Alcantara inserts in the seat bolsters; and contrast stitching in Sakhir Orange. The BMW Individual headliner in Alcantara is likewise in Midnight Blue. The CFRP materials can also be found in the interior.
The two special edition models will be produced at the BMW Plant in Spartanburg, United States.
