Here are some quick powertrain details on the ICE variants of the second generation Mokka that made its debut as an EV (Mokka-e) in June this year. In Germany, the Mokka is available with 1.2L petrol or 1.5L diesel powertrains.

To begin with, there’s a 100 hp (74 kW) 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. There’s also another 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that offers 130 hp (96 kW) and 230 Nm (170 lb-ft) of torque, and can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

For those who like the diesel grunt, Opel will offer a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder unit that develops 110 hp (81 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque, and is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Prices start at €19,990 in Germany (including VAT).
