2021 Honda CBR650R and CB650R launched in India

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2021 CBR650R and its naked sibling CB650R in the country, priced at INR 8.88 lakh and INR 8.67 lakh, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom, Gurugram (Haryana).

The CBR650R features a full fairing with dual-LED headlight, LCD instrument display, and redesigned muffler. The naked CB650R also gets LED lighting and an LCD instrument display. Both motorcycles feature ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) as well that automatically activates the front and rear hazard lights to warn any nearby vehicles. Suspension duties are handled by an adjustable 41 mm Showa USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 310 mm discs at the front and a single 240 mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS comes standard.

Both motorcycles are powered by a 648.72 cc in-line 4-cylinder engine that develops 64 kW (87 metric hp) at 12,000 rpm and 57.5 Nm (42 lb-ft) of torque at 8,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch.
