A fleet of all-electric Peugeot e-208 will join the Guardia di Finanza — an Italian law enforcement agency that fights financial crimes. The first car painted in the official colors of the Guardia di Finanza was handed over to the agency officials.

The first car, which is on a free loan, will be followed by 30 other cars — on a long-term lease. Complementing the official livery are three flashing lights on the roof and micro-LED strips at the front and rear, fitted by Focaccia Group — an experienced company that has been working with law enforcement vehicles for several years.

Besides a few specific equipment required for the officials, the car remains the same mechanically. The e-208 is powered by a single electric motor with 100 kW (136 metric hp) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque, drawing juice from a 50 kWh battery pack that is good for a range of up to 340 km (211 mi) as per WLTP homologation protocols.
