Ford said that it’ll use this pilot testing program as a benchmark while it continues to explore purpose-built police electric vehicles in the future. Apparently, the demand for all-electric vehicles from law enforcement agencies is growing worldwide.

Last week, Ford introduced a Mustang Mach-E police concept car in the United Kingdom that has police agencies lining up for a chance to take a spin.
