Polestar Re:Move is a stylish way to move things around town

Alongside the Makka Polestar edition by CAKE e-bike, Polestar also showcased the Re:Move concept at the 2021 IAA in Munich. That’s right! Polestar wants to cash-in on the COVID-fallout-e-commerce-boom. And so, the Re:Move is a last-mile delivery transporter concept designed and developed in collaboration with designer Konstantin Grcic, aluminium producer Hydro, and of course, e-bike maker Cake.

The electric transporter is about 750 mm wide, which should perfectly fit into the bicycle lanes, and apparently, it can carry loads of up to 180 kg (397 lbs). An electric tilt mechanism has been hooked up with the aluminium chassis, enabling the vehicle to lean-in to turns, improving stability and manoeuvrability, and reducing its turning circle to less than 7 metres. The vehicle also boasts disc brakes, a damped rear swingarm, always-on lighting, brake lights, optional indicators and a horn.

Polestar didn’t share a lot of details including about the motor, but that’s probably not gonna matter at this point. However, it did share that the top speed is limited to 25 km/h (15.5 mph) and the battery pack capacity will be 2.2 kWh.
