EV start-up One Moto has launched the Electa electric scooter in India, priced at INR 1.99 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India. The company claims to be headquartered in London, with offices in Dubai and Hyderabad as well. Its logo resembles that of Delhi Metro, while the product itself has an Italian flair.

The retro-themed e-scooter is powered by a 4 kW (5.4 metric hp) Bosch hub motor at the rear that draws juice from a removable 45 AH lithium-ion battery pack. A single charge is claimed to offer a range between 90 and 150 km (56-93 mi). The battery pack is claimed to take about 4 hours to get juiced up. The top speed is claimed to be 85 km/h (53 mph).

Not much information is available at the moment with regards to local manufacturing or assembly, but it appears that One Moto will import a finished product from China. At the time of publishing this story, its website lists the e-scooter with a “Coming Soon” tag. As for warranty, the company claims to offer 1 year.
