Jeep has updated the Renegade subcompact crossover for the Brazilian market, with subtle styling revisions and upgraded onboard technology. There are also changes under the hood, which we’ll talk about in a minute. These updates are expected to make it to the U.S. and other markets as well. The photos/renderings and a teaser video showcase the range-topping Trailhawk model.

Speaking of which, the front fascia has a new grille that is slightly slimmer than before and there’s also a new bumper where the fog lights have occupied the place where the turn signals used to be. But don’t worry, the running lights in the headlights double as turn signals. Not much has changed on the rear fascia except for new taillight detailing. And of course, there are a new set of wheels as well.

Inside, you’ll find a new steering wheel and a 7-inch full digital instrument display. The rest of the things will probably remain unchanged, including an 8.4-inch central touchscreen, but you can expect updated software.

The Renegade Trailhawk facelift is wearing a T270 badge at the rear, suggesting that the 2.0L turbo diesel will be replaced with a 1.3L 4-cylinder turbocharged flex-fuel engine (gasoline or ethanol) for both FWD and 4WD variants. Transmission options are expected to be a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
