The 2022 Toyota Tundra lineup has got a new Capstone trim for the U.S. market, scheduled to arrive at the dealerships this spring. The Capstone will be the new halo trim in the Tundra lineup, sitting on top of the TRD Pro.

On the exterior, it features a unique front grille with color-keyed outer frame, chrome mirror caps, chrome rear badges, and gigantic 22-inch dark chrome & machined-finish alloy wheels.

The white-and-black dual-tone-themed interior features walnut wood-grain inserts, semi-aniline leather-trimmed 10-way power-adjustable front seats, standard 10-inch color Head-Up Display, standard 12.3-inch digital driver display, standard 14-inch central touchscreen, and standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 suite of active safety and driver assistance systems. Buyers can opt for Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS).

As for the juicy bits, the Tundra Capstone is a hybrid. Meaning, a motor-generator is nestled between the 3.5L biturbo V6 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission, producing 326 kW (437 bhp/443 metric hp) and 790 Nm (583 lb-ft) of torque.
