BMW-iX-M60

BMW is offering the iX M60 for those who find the 326 hp iX xDrive40 and the 523 hp iX xDrive50 not pleasurable enough. According to BMW, the new variant offers the best of all the three: i, X and M. The crossover will make its public debut at the CES in Las Vegas, with global launch expected in June 2022.

Let’s jump straight to the important bits then, shall we? The iX M60 too has got two electric motors, one at each axle, offering a combined 397 kW (540 metric hp) and 1,000+ Nm (738 lb-ft) of max torque in Normal driving mode. Still not satisfied? Well, in Sport mode, you can extract up to 1,015 Nm (749 lb-ft) of max torque and if you activate Launch Control, you get up to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). Also, with Sport mode and Launch Control, you get up to 455 kW (619 metric hp) for about 10 seconds. BMW claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 3.8 seconds—most likely with Launch Control. Top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

The 111.5 kWh battery pack is estimated to offer a WLTP range of up to 575 km (357 mi). The battery pack can be DC fast-charged with up to 200 kW.

Standard features include BMW Laser Light, 21-inch aerodynamically optimized wheels, M-specific suspension set-up, two-axle air suspension with adaptive dampers, active steering, Bowers & Wilkins audio system, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, and active seat ventilation.
