2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition marks the end of the 6th-gen model

The 6th-gen Chevrolet Camaro is gonna join the history books post the 2024 model year, but before that, there has to be a final special Collector’s Edition, of course. The special edition is gonna be available on the LT/RS, LT1, SS and ZL1 trims in North America (summer 2023).

The 2024 Camaro Collector Edition ZL1 is limited to 350 units in total. On the exterior, it is painted in Panther Black Matte color, complemented with a Black Metallic center stripe. Other key highlights include a front splitter (from 1LE package), visible carbon fibre weave rear spoiler (from 1LE package; Coupe only), Camaro Collector Edition fender badge, 20-inch Dark Graphite-painted forged-aluminum wheels, and of course, some carbon fibre interior decorations and a serialized steering wheel badge.

The 2024 Camaro Collector Edition LT/LT1/SS models are drenched in Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat, complemented with a Black center stripe. These also get a front splitter (from 1LE package), a fender badge, ZL1 design rear spoiler (Coupe only), and 20-inch 5-split-spoke forged-aluminum wheels (Black or polished). Here too, red brake calipers and black lug nuts complete the exterior look.

Also, all Camaro ZL1 Collector’s Edition owners will receive a bespoke Canfield Sport 45 mm watch from Shinola, with an inscribed serial number that matches the number on their vehicle’s steering wheel badge.

The ZL1 continues to be powered by a 6.2L Supercharged V8 engine with 485 kW (650 bhp/659 metric hp) and 881 Nm (650 lb-ft) of torque. The engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. The SS and LT1 pack a 6.2L naturally aspirated V8 engine with 339 kW (455 bhp/461 metric hp) and 617 Nm (455 lb-ft) of torque. The engine can also be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The LT packs a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine with 205 kW (275 bhp/279 metric hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission in this case can either be a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic. A 250 kW (335 bhp/340 metric hp) 3.6L V6 is also available with either a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission.
