Fiat-Panda-4x40

Fiat is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Panda 4×4 with a collector’s edition called Panda 4×40°—limited to 1,983 units—a number that honors the year the Panda 4×4 was introduced. The limited edition model will be available only in Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland.

On the exterior, this special Panda 4×40° is painted in Ivory (an off-white color) and features 15-inch bi-color alloy wheels; a red 4×40° branding on the door cladding; a black 4×40° badge on the B-pillar, and a red Panda silhouette underneath the rear-quarter glass. Front fog lights; LED running lights; privacy glass; front red tow hooks, and black roof bars are some of the other key exterior highlights of this quirky Panda.

Inside, the Ivory color is the main highlight, as you can probably tell. The seats are upholstered with recycled fabric, featuring red double stitching and commemorative logos. Leather-wrapped steering wheel; a 7-inch touchscreen; DAB radio; Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity; electric & heated door mirrors; dusk & rain sensors, and rear parking sensors are some of the other key features of the Panda 4×40°.

The Panda is available with a 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol-electric mild-hybrid powertrain with 51.5 kW (70 metric hp) and 92 Nm (68 lb-ft), paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Depending on the market, there’s also a 1.2L 4-cylinder petrol/LPG bi-fuel engine on offer, with 51 kW (69 metric hp) and 97 Nm (71.5 lb-ft), paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
