As you probably know, Honda is not just about cars and motorcycles. It also makes private jets, outboard motors, and recently, it even revealed a reusable rocket. You can see all this at the Honda booth at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. Tucked in amongst all that chaos is the Super-ONE Prototype.
It looks familiar, probably because it is based on the second-gen N-One, more specifically, the N-One e: (battery electric version). It is wearing a sporty bodykit with redesigned bumpers and flared wheel arches. The wheel design is different too, and notice the red-painted calipers. Is it all about the sporty bodykit then? Well, for the most part, yes. However, this prototype boasts Boost mode—which is claimed to increase the power output. How much increase? Well, that’s a secret for now. Furthermore, there’s a simulation of a 7-speed transmission and engine sound.
It’s funny and sad at the same time, as we often see carmakers resorting to “simulating” ICE sounds in EVs to increase the fun factor of these cars. But anyway, the N-One e: is powered by a single electric motor at the front, offering 47 kW (64 metric hp) and 162 Nm (119.5 lb-ft). A 29.6 kWh battery pack is claimed to offer a range of up to 295 km (183 mi).
