BMW Motorrad is introducing the M 1000 RR Isle of Man TT, a special edition model, marking the 115th running of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy in 2026. As the name suggests, the special edition is based on the M 1000 RR, and is limited to 115 units. Pricing is not disclosed, but your local dealer might have that information. Just to give you an idea, the regular M 1000 RR starts at €36,300 (including 19% VAT) in Germany.
BMW says that the limited edition is based on the M 1000 RR M Competition. What that means is, the optional €7,690 M Competition Package is included as standard here, which includes carbon fibre elements, milled parts, and DLC-coated chain. The body is mostly painted in British Racing Green with a matt finish, and combined with exclusive TT design elements, including selected sections of the TT Mountain Course.
The aluminium tank is painted in Satin Chrome, while the seat is wrapped in Black Alcantara. The rest of the things remain unchanged, of course. The M 1000 RR is powered by a 999 cc in-line four-cylinder engine that pumps out 160 kW (218 metric hp) at 14,500 rpm and 113 Nm (83 lb-ft) of torque at 11,100 rpm. The engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox featuring straight-cut gears.
