Bentley has revealed a new Styling Specification for the Flying Spur, crafted in carbon fibre. These include a front bumper splitter, side skirts with metallic Bentley badges, diffuser-like insert at the rear and a boot lid spoiler.
The carbon fibre weave is a 2×2 twill pattern, woven in the same direction for all components to ensure consistency. The carbon fibre is laid-up in multiple layers with each layer oriented for optimum strength and durability. The side skirts include a 3D electroformed Bentley badge.
Bentley said that all these components complement the car’s aerodynamics and have been refined using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.
