Remember the J29 Toyota Supra? Yea, a lot of people have almost forgotten it, unfortunately, thanks to the overshadowing success of the GR Yaris. But, the Supra too is a very good car (to drive) and Toyota wants to remind people of that fact with a special Jarama Racetrack Edition, limited to 90 units in Europe.

Named after the famous Spanish circuit, the special edition is finished in a unique Horizon Blue paint, contrasted with matt black-finished 19-inch forged alloy wheels and red-painted calipers.

Inside, the special edition gets a carbon fibre insert on the dashboard specifying its number in the production run; power-adjustable seats with memory and heating function, and black Alcantara upholstery with blue contrast stitching. Other features include satellite navigation with 3D-mapping, smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay & Android Auto), and a 10-speaker audio system.

The GR Supra Jarama Racetrack Edition is powered by a 3.0-litre in-line 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 250 kW (340 metric hp) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. An 8-speed ZF automatic drives the rear wheels. Its official 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time is 4.3 seconds.
