Mercedes-Benz has launched the long wheelbase version of the E-Class facelift in India, with prices starting at INR 63.60 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. At launch, the E-Class LWB will be available in three trims and the ex-showroom prices are listed below.

The E-Class facelift made its global debut over a year ago. The LWB model offers a generous 140 mm additional wheelbase over the standard wheelbase model. Features for the Indian market include LED high-performance headlights, panoramic sliding sunroof, and 17-inch light-alloy wheels. The AMG Line gets 18-inch light-alloy wheels in addition to the AMG body kit.

Features in the cabin include a 12.3-inch digital driver display, MBUX commands activated with “Hey Mercedes”, 64-color ambient lighting, reclining rear seats, memory function for the rear seats, and electric sunblinds. The AMG Line gets a few more features including retractable rear touchscreen, wireless charging in the rear, and Burmester surround sound system.

Safety equipment includes several airbags, TPMS, Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assistant, and Pre-Safe system. The 360-degree camera is optional on the AMG Line. Download the brochure here.

As for the juicy bits, the E 200 is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,991 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that develops 145 kW (197 metric hp) between 5,500-6,100 rpm and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque between 1,650-4,000 rpm. The E 220d on the other side packs a 2.0-litre (1,950 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that develops 143 kW (194 metric hp) at 3,800 rpm and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque between 1,600-2,800 rpm. The big daddy E 350d is powered by a 3.0-litre (2,925 cc) in-line 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that dishes out 210 kW (285 metric hp) between 3,400-4,600 rpm and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque between 1,200-3,200 rpm. All engines are paired with a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
