Hyundai has launched the second-gen Venue and Venue N Line in the Indian market, with prices starting at INR 7.90 lakh, ex-showroom. There’s a big list of variants to choose from:

First, let’s focus on the regular Venue, followed by the new Venue N Line.
Key features of the new Venue, depending on the variant, include quad-beam LED headlights, LED taillights, voice-enabled smart electric sunroof, and 16-inch Diamond-cut alloy wheels. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, roll-over sensor, ESC, hill-start assist, and impact sensing auto door unlock. The top-spec HX10 variant gets the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite that includes—among other things—Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Parking Collision Avoidance Assist-Rear, and Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go. Inside, key features, depending on the variant, include a dual-tone theme with leatherette upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay connectivity, auto AC, a wireless smartphone charger, Type-C USB ports, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, Moon white ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, 4-way electric driver seat, cooled glovebox, and Hyundai Bluelink connected car tech.
As for powertrain options, for starters, there’s a 1.2L 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with 61 kW (83 metric hp) and 115 Nm (85 lb-ft), paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. For those who want more, there’s a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol with 88 kW (120 metric hp) and 172 Nm (127 lb-ft). This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. For those who prefer diesel, there’s a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo, offering 85 kW (116 metric hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft). This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Next up, we’ve the sporty Venue N Line, with prices starting at INR 10.55 lakh, ex-showroom. There are 6 variants in total to choose from:

The Venue N Line attempts to look sporty with sporty bumpers, dark chrome grille, red accents, a wing-type rear spoiler, dual exhaust tips, and 17-inch Diamond-cut alloy wheels. Inside, you get a dark theme with red accents, red contrast stitching, red ambient lighting, sporty seats with larger side bolsters, sporty pedals, sporty steering wheel, and of course, the obligatory N branding.
Powering the Venue N Line is a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol with 88 kW (120 metric hp) and 172 Nm (127 lb-ft). Transmission options include a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. Nope, there’s no increase in numbers compared with the regular Venue.
Also, all variants continue to be front-wheel-drive, and there are no AWD options.
