Renault India to hike prices by up to 3% from January 2018

Kwid-1.0

Renault India has announced that it will increase the prices of Kwid, Duster and Lodgy by up to 3 per cent from January 2018, due to rising input costs.

However, the recently launched Captur SUV would be spared from this price revision.

The price hike is to partially offset the impact of rising input and freight costs, the company said in a statement.

Renault India joins the list of several automakers in the country that have announced a price hike from January.

Yesterday, Mahindra & Mahindra and Volkswagen too announced a price hike in the country from January 2018. While Mahindra will increase the prices of passenger and commercial vehicles by up to 3 per cent, Volkswagen will increase by up to Rs 20,000.
