Electric scooters are a Meh to most of the people. But, the California-based OjO Electric hopes to change that with their really cool looking OjO Commuter Scooter.

OjO stands out with its design which looks like something from a 3D animated movie. According to the company, it has been designed to ride either sitting or standing. The seating is adjustable, and there is an optional rear storage accessory available.

The OjO has a 500 Watt (0.67 hp) gear hub motor drawing juice from a 48-volt lithium ion battery that is good for 25 miles (40 km) on a full charge. Top speed is 20 mph (32 km/h) and you don’t require a licence to ride this.

OjO gets a capacitive touchscreen that allows the rider to choose from three speed modes, review current and historical distance information and control lighting & sound. Speaking of sound, it also has integrated speakers with bluetooth connectivity. Mirrors are optional extras.

Other features include wireless key, motion activated alarm system, front and rear disc brakes, and ABS.

In US, OjO has partnered with Ford for marketing/rebadge purposes. If you have $2,000 at your disposal, you can order one online.
