Tata Hexa showcases its off-roading capabilities

Tata’s new crossover Hexa is officially not yet launched. But before that happens, the manufacturer wants people to get a taste of it, and showcase its off-roading capabilities, putting all its systems to work.

As we all know, the Hexa packs a 2.2 litre 4 cylinder VARICOR 400 diesel engine, producing 154 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. However, this engine is only for XM and XT trims. The entry level XE packs a 320 version of the 2.2 diesel, producing 148 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6 Speed Manual or 6 Speed Auto. 5 Speed Manual for the XE. The Hexa packs a Borg Warner sourced adaptive 4WD system, which can transfer torque to the appropriate axle when a slippage is detected.

Tata Hexa packs features such as multiple driving modes called Super Drive Modes, ESP with roll-over mitigation, Hill Start Assist and Hill Descent Control, Traction Control, 6 airbags, ABS + EBD and so on.
