Maruti Suzuki has added a new top end variant VXi+ to its WagonR lineup, priced at Rs 4.69 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The WagonR VXi+ is available in three more trims – VXi+ (O), VXi+ AGS, and VXi+ AGS (O). Variant wise prices listed below, all prices ex-showroom, Delhi.

Before the new generation WagonR makes it to the market, Maruti Suzuki wants to keep the existing ones updated, and the WagonR VXi+ is nothing but the renamed/updated Stingray.
Features of the WagonR VXi+ include projector headlamps, reflective front grille, alloy wheels, and side skirts. On the inside, it gets dual tone & piano finish interiors, and premium fabrics. On the safety front, it gets dual front airbags, ABS + EBD as an optional equipment.
R. S. Kalsi, Executive Director Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “WagonR has had a phenomenal journey since its launch. Maruti Suzuki has delivered over 19 lakh WagonR. The WagonR VXi+ has been introduced to meet customer demands, who have desired for more style, along-with comfort, convenience and advanced safety features. The WagonR VXi+ defines unique design interventions both on the interiors as well as exteriors. It would strengthen the WagonR brand and help to enhance Maruti Suzuki’s market share.”
The WagonR VXi+ is powered by a 998 CC 3 cylinder petrol engine, producing 67 hp @ 6200 rpm and 90 Nm of torque @ 3500 rpm, mated to a 5 Speed manual transmission, or can be had with an AMT.
And in an other news, Maruti Suzuki announced a price hike ranging from Rs 1,500 to Rs 8,014 (Ex-Showroom – Delhi) across models. This new prices are effect from 27th January 2017. The hike in car prices is because of increase in commodity, transportation and administrative costs. Said an official release.
