MSIL recently revealed the India-spec new generation Swift which will go on sale in February. Let’s take a look at the variant wise features.

The new Swift will come in a total of 12 variants which includes petrol and diesel, manual and AMT options. As always, the higher variant adds all the equipment of the lower variants and gets some more –

LXi/LDi
The LXi and LDi are base models. It gets –

The LED projector headlamps and LED DRLs lend a unique and premium look to the car, but Maruti has decided to keep them exclusive to the “+” trims for now. A lot of customers are gonna want them in the standard ‘Z’ trims and MSIL might add them later.

Also, the top-spec “+” trims doesn’t get an AMT option, and that might change later as well. At launch, only V and Z trims are offered an AMT option.
