Mercedes-Benz GLS Grand Edition launched at Rs 86.90 lakh

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the ‘Grand Edition’ of the GLS, priced at Rs 86.90 lakh ex-showroom for both GLS 350 d diesel and GLS 400 petrol variants.

Exterior features include LED Intelligent Light System with unique black rings, 20-inch 10-spoke light alloy wheels painted in black and gloss finish, ‘Grand Edition’ exterior badges and chrome fins on the bonnet.

Interiors get Rear Seat Entertainment System as standard which comes with two 7-inch high definition screens. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is also included in the package.

Rest of the features have been carried over from the standard GLS, including heated 3-spoke multifunction nappa leather steering wheel, 8-inch COMAND Online with touchpad, AIRMATIC suspension with Adaptive Dampening System Plus, PRE-SAFE system, BAS Brake Assist, electronic all-wheel drive traction system 4ETS, ESP with Curve Dynamic Assist and cruise control.

The GLS 350 d is powered by a 258 hp 3.0 V6 diesel and the GLS 400 is powered a 333 hp 3.0 V6 petrol. Both engines are paired to a 9G-Tronic automatic transmission sending power to the all four wheels via 4Matic all wheel drive system.

Last year in June, the company had launched Mercedes-AMG GLS 63.
