The Citroen C1 is one of the best selling models of the brand in Europe with 51,000 units sold last year. It is now available in Urban Ride special edition, targeted at young customers.
The visual enhancements include matte black wheel arch extensions, “Urban Ride” decals, Lipizan White mirror housings and 15-inch Planet Black alloy wheels (or diamond effect as a free option) with black centres. The body is finished in Scarlet Red paint as standard with a two-tone Caldera Black roof (option). Other body colours include Calvi Blue, Gallium Grey, Caldera Black and Lipizan White.
Interiors feature new two-tone Grey and White Urban Ride Collection 2 cloth upholstery with discreet red topstitching, and special front and rear mats with the “Urban Ride” logo.
Also notice the dashboard insert in Porcelaine White, Gloss Black gear shifter base and air vent surrounds, and a special dashboard decal.
Equipment list includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink, a 4-speaker audio system with steering-mounted controls, Bluetooth hands-free kit and a USB socket. Options include automatic headlights, hands-free access and start, and Safety Pack comprising of Active City Brake, Lane Departure Warning System and Speed Sign Recognition function with recommendations.
The city car is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 53 kW (72 metric hp) and 93 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT.
Orders are open in France for Urban Ride 2019 special edition, with prices starting at €15,050 on C1 and €16,200 on C1 Airscape.
