Hyundai Venue production begins in Chennai

First Hyundai Venue rolls off assembly line India

The first Hyundai Venue has rolled off the assembly line at the company’s manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, on the occasion of Hyundai India’s 23rd foundation day. The sub-4m compact crossover will be launched in India on 21st May, and the bookings are open.

Commenting on the first production roll-out, SS Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) said, “This is a proud moment for us at Hyundai. On this day 23 years ago, Hyundai entered India with a promise to make cars that will set new benchmarks in the industry. And today we are set to create history again with the Global First – roll out of Venue, which will usher the future of connected mobility in India.”
