Tata Motors is happy to announce that the company has rolled out 100,000th Nexon from its Ranjangaon facility. The compact crossover was launched in the country in September 2017.
At launch, the Nexon was available only with a 6-speed manual transmission, which was joined by an AMT in May 2018. While its looks played a major role in racking up the sales numbers, scoring 5 stars in Global NCAP crash test in December 2018 further boosted its image. The company claims the Nexon to be the 2nd most selling compact SUV in the past 1 year.
The Nexon is offered with a choice of 1.2L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L turbocharged diesel engines.
