Aston Martin has started delivering the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation cars – part of the £6m+ DBZ Centenary Collection. The first of the 19 new cars are making their way to Aston Martin aficionados around the globe.

Each model of this track-only classic sports car apparently takes around 4,500 hours of painstaking work at the brand’s Heritage Division headquarters in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire. Originally built to race against the might of Ferrari in the 1960s, the DB4 GT Zagato is widely regarded as among the most beautiful and desirable sports cars ever made.

This latest continuation car follows the 25 units of DB4 GT Continuation models that were sold to collectors in 2017. Interestingly, Aston Martin is also working on DB5 Goldfinger Edition cars that’ll arrive in 2020.

The other part of the DBZ Centenary Collection, which is the DBS GT Zagato, will arrive in Q4 2020.
