Hyundai Verna facelift launched at Rs 9.31 lakh

Hyundai India has launched the Verna facelift in the country, with prices starting at Rs 9,30,585 ex-showroom, Delhi. Variant wise ex-Delhi prices below –

The Turbo variants get sporty bumpers, gloss black front grille, black ORVMs, black shark fin antenna, and twin exhaust tips. There are 6 exterior colors to choose from – Starry Night, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Titan Grey, Polar White, and Phantom Black.

Features inside include all-black theme with red accents (Turbo), digital instrument cluster with 4.2-inch MID, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, Blue Link connected car technology, Arkamys Premium Sound, auto AC, Eco coating, wireless smartphone charging, electric sunroof, height-adjustable driver’s seat, and cruise control.

The Verna facelift offers three engines to choose from. For those looking for performance, there’s a 1.0-litre (998 cc) 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine tuned to produce 120 hp at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque between 1,500-4,000 rpm, paired with a 7-speed DCT. This variant gets paddle shifters.

For those who don’t want any of that, Hyundai is offering a 1.5-litre (1,497 cc) 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 115 hp at 6,300 and 144 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm, paired with a 6-speed MT or a CVT (branded as IVT). The diesel engine is also a 1.5-litre (1,493 cc) 4-cylinder unit, with VGT, producing 115 hp at 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500-2,750, paired with a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
