We already saw the RS variants of the 4th generation Skoda Octavia, but those were the RS iV – the plug-in hybrid variants. For those who want the regular Octavia RS, Skoda is now offering the Octavia RS and Octavia Combi RS.
All four generations of Octavia RS
The petrol engine is a 2.0L TSI with 180 kW (245 hp) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque on offer, while the diesel RS packs a 2.0L TDI engine with 147 kW (200 hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. Both engines are paired with a 7-speed DCT, while the diesel RS gets an option of AWD.
Interiors feature a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit with sporty layout, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with shift paddles, carbon fibre-like decorative strips on the dashboard, Alcantara on the dashboard & door pads, and front sports seats in black fabric with RS embroidery.
