Cadillac has updated the CT4 and CT5 sedans with additional technology and a new special edition package on the Premium Luxury trim called ‘Diamond Sky’.

The tech updates would include the optional 12-inch digital instrument cluster, Enhanced Super Cruise with Lane Change on Demand (available on V-Series trims early 2021), wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, and SiriusXM with 360L.

Cadillac has added more standard safety features, which includes a new Buckle to Drive feature. As the name suggests, this feature will prevent the shifter from leaving ‘Park’ if the driver hasn’t buckled up. On the CT4 Luxury trim, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Safety Alert Seat now come standard.

The aforementioned Diamond Sky package gets the Diamond Sky Metallic exterior paint, front grille with exclusive bright accents and surrounds; rocker panels in Diamond Sky paint; Diamond-cut alloy wheels in Midnight Silver finish; Brembo V Performance front brakes with blue calipers (all four corners); and clear lens taillights.

Inside, the package gets Sky Cool Gray/Jet Black leather seating with Diamond Fall seat insert perforation; Centaurus Finish Aluminum accents on CT4 and Galaxy Finish Wood accents on CT5; and alloy pedals. The key fob too features Diamond Sky Metallic accents with the Cadillac crest logo.

V-Series updates
Material improvements to the 2021 CT4-V and CT5-V include Modena leather on the performance steering wheel, along with a standard leather-wrapped horn pad. In addition, the front brake calipers are now V Performance branded with the V-Series logo. On the CT4-V, the center console insert has been updated from aluminum to carbon fibre.

The CT5 Sport trim now offers an optional V Performance package, which includes an upgraded performance suspension, Magnetic Ride Control and mechanical limited-slip differential. Brembo V Performance front brakes are also available on the Sport trim for both CT4 and CT5, with a choice of red or blue calipers.

On both the CT4 and CT5, two new exterior colors – Infrared Tintcoat and Rift Metallic (V-Series only) – replace the outgoing colors Red Obsession Tintcoat and Royal Spice Metallic. Rift Metallic is exclusive to the CT5-V and CT4-V. It is an alabaster white-based color with a fresh greige hue. Infrared Tintcoat is an attention-drawing cherry red color.

The 2021 CT4 and CT5 will arrive at U.S. dealerships this fall.
