Ducati Multistrada 950 S launched in India at Rs 15.49 lakh

Ducati has launched the Multistrada 950 S in India, priced at INR 15.49 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. Bookings are open across all Ducati dealerships in the country, with deliveries scheduled to begin from the second week of November.

The sports touring motorcycle is built around a tubular steel trellis frame. Features include vertically adjustable fly screen, LED headlights, a 5-inch TFT display, two 12-volt power sockets and a USB port underneath the seat. The electronics package includes Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS), Ducati Quick Shift up/down (DQS), Ducati Cornering Lights (DCL) and Cruise Control.

Braking duties are handled by 320 mm semi-floating discs with Brembo monobloc 4-piston calipers at the front, and a single 265 mm disc with Brembo 2-piston floating caliper at the rear.

Powering the Multistrada 950 S is a 937 cc L-Twin cylinder liquid-cooled engine that develops 83 kW (113 metric hp) at 9,000 rpm and 96 Nm (71 lb-ft) of torque at 7,750 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
