Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) sold a total of 44,359 vehicles (PV + CV + exports) in October 2020, registering a decline of over 14.5% compared to a total of 51,896 vehicles sold in October 2019. However, in the Utility Vehicles segment, M&M sold 18,317 vehicles last month, registering a growth of 3% compared to 17,785 vehicles in October 2019. The total Passenger Vehicle segment (which includes UVs, Cars and Vans) sold 18,622 vehicles in October 2020, a marginal growth over the same period last year.
Our brands Scorpio, Bolero and XUV 300 continue to do well, while the bookings for the all-new Thar have set new records within just a month of its launch. For Mahindra, the festive season has started on a positive note with deliveries and bookings being higher than last year. Exports for October 2020 were at 2,021 vehicles, a decline of 25% compared to October 2019.
