Kia Motors India (KMI) sold a total of 21,022 units in November 2020, registering a growth of just over 50% compared to 14,005 units sold in the same month a year ago. Of course, KMI only had Seltos to sell last year.
Of 21,022 units last month, the Sonet accounted for 11,417 units, followed by the Seltos with 9,205 units. The remaining 400 units were probably the Carnival minivan (previous gen).
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, we were quite hopeful about the festive month, and the results were overwhelming. Not only urban, but customers from Tier II, III, and IV markets also are acknowledging the need for personal mobility for safety. – Kookhyun Shim, MD & CEO, KMI
