Powering the Safari is the same Fiat-sourced diesel engine that powers the Harrier. The 2.0-litre (1,956 cc) 4-cylinder turbocharged unit develops 125 kW (170 metric hp) at 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque between 1,750-2,500 rpm. The engine can be paired with either 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearboxes that drive the front wheels. No AWD on offer. Read more here.
