Ford EcoSport SE launched at Rs 10.49 lakh

Ford India has launched a new trim of EcoSport called EcoSport SE, priced at INR 10.49 lakh for petrol and INR 10.99 lakh for the diesel variant. The SE slots between the Titanium+ and the range-topping S variants. Visually, the SE loses the tailgate-mounted spare wheel and looks more like the EcoSport sold in the international markets.

Instead of a spare wheel, the SE gets a puncture repair kit as standard. Also, notice that the licence plate area on the rear bumper has been filled-up with a plastic applique.

Feature list includes HID headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, electric sunroof, 8-inch Sync 3 central touchscreen, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity, and safety equipment including airbags (front, side and curtain), ABS with EBD, ESC and Traction Control. Download the brochure here.

As for the powertrains, the EcoSport SE will be available with a 122 hp 1.5-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine or a 100 hp 1.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 6-speed automatic gearbox remains exclusive to Titanium+ trim.
