Hyundai wants to capitalize on the growing 3-row SUV segment in India with the upcoming ‘Alcazar’, named after Spanish castles. The SUV is currently undergoing testing and a media preview is expected on April 6, 2021. In the meantime, Hyundai has revealed a couple of sketches.

The Alcazar is essentially a 3-row version of the second generation Creta. There’ll be some subtle styling differences such as the tailgate and taillamps, for example. However, expect the front fascia to be almost identical to the Creta. On the stretched side profile, notice that the fat C-pillar hides the window for the 3-row occupants.

Inside, the dashboard appears to be fairly identical to that of the Creta. For the second row, Hyundai might offer a bench seat or captain seat options. The list of features and powertrains are expected to be the same as the Creta.
